Dear Fellow Minister,

Greetings in the precious name of Jesus.

What extraordinary opportunities God has given us to touch our world for Jesus; one such unique ministry is the United States Emergency Chaplain Corps and Chaplain Steve Holden.  Steve has the credentials and training to go behind the emergency lines to help victims of natural or manmade disasters.

I first became acquainted with Steve during our hurricane relief effort on the Gulf Coast.  He was a tremendous help in giving us valuable information which kept us from making several costly mistakes and helping us be more effective in our outreach to the hurricane victims.  Steve not only gave us wise counsel but also was on the front lines of the search and rescue effort in New Orleans for months.  My appreciation and respect for this type of ministry was greatly multiplied.

God has given us a wonderful opportunity to minister to an area of need which we have not heretofore effectively addressed: the need to help in a concerted way with emergency disasters.  We all know this is an imperfect world and disasters will happen again.  Let’s prepare ourselves to be some of the first to respond to the needs of hurting people by supporting this ministry.  Steve not only helps with the physical emergency needs, but as an ordained minister helps by meeting spiritual needs as well.  Please join me in becoming a part of the Two Hundred Thousand Club and supporting this worthy ministry.

Yours for HIS Kingdom,
